The Five-Time Atlantic League Champion Somerset Patriots have announced that they will host four Bark in the Nights during the 2012 season.
The first Bark in the Park Night is Monday, June 25th and the remaining three dates are Tuesday, July 24th, Monday, August 27th, and Tuesday, September 18th, all at 7:05 pm.
All pet owners attending the game with their dog are asked to bring paperwork displaying proof of vaccination and their dog ID tag to be checked before entry outside the main gate. All dogs attending the game with their owners do not need a ticket for entry.
Each designated Bark in the Park Night will feature a Pre-Game Pooch Parade beginning at 6:30 pm from the lawn seating area down the right field line. All owners and their dogs are encouraged to participate in the parade around the field before the game.
K9 Resorts Daycare and Luxury Hotel has partnered with the Patriots to be the presenting sponsor of the July 24th and August 27th Bark in the Park Nights. During these games, the first 500 dogs will receive a Doggy Goody Bag. All fans are also encouraged to visit the concourse table displays during the game to collect free giveaways, information, and dog related advice from various Patriots partners. All fans are asked to only bring well-behaved, social and leashed dogs to the ballpark. The Patriots will provide bowls of water for the dogs throughout the concourse area.
“Each season we look forward to hosting Bark in the Park Nights,” said Patrick McVerry, President and General Manager of the Somerset Patriots. “It has become a tradition at the ballpark that allows our fans to bring their entire family, including their dog, to enjoy a night of Patriots baseball and family fun.”
This is the fourth season that the Patriots have hosted the Bark in the Park Nights at the ballpark.
