New Cable TV Show Focuses on RVCC

Raritan Valley Community College (RVCC) has recently launched a new cable television show that focuses on all of the happenings at the College. RVCC Fever, which began airing in October, highlights the myriad of activities and programs at RVCC—from student theatrical productions and choral concerts, to Hispanic Heritage Month festivities, to the Foundation’s Golf Outing, to the College’s technical training programs and grant initiatives—and much more.

Produced by Steve Kaiser, RVCC Fever is designed to educate the local community about all of RVCC’s many projects, including student life programs, cultural activities, and teacher training and professional development programs. The College will be seeking input from the RVCC community about content for future segments.

The monthly segments air on Cablevision (Channel 15) on Tuesdays at 9:30 p.m. and on Verizon FiOS (Channel 40) on Thursdays at 10 p.m. The show also can be viewed online at http://piscatawaytv.peg.tv; click on RVCC Fever on the list of shows.

RVCC’s main campus is located at 118 Lamington Road in Branchburg, NJ. Serving Somerset and Hunterdon County residents for over 40 years, the College offers more than 90 associate degrees and certificates. RVCC @ Bridgewater, located at 14 Vogt Drive, offers technical, trade, credit and non-credit courses.

The College is committed to offering a quality and affordable education through effective teaching, liaisons with the community’s businesses and state-of-the-art technology. For further information, visit www.raritanval.edu.
