For those looking to build or enhance a career in management, the American Management Association (AMA) University Certificate in Management is one of the best ways to meet that goal.

Providing an affordable pathway to gain that certification, County College of Morris (CCM) will be offering the program beginning this September. Designed in conjunction with the AMA and taught by CCM instructors, the program offers participants the opportunity to develop the skills they need to succeed and grow in a changing environment. Participants can fine-tune present skills, learn new ones, and enrich their careers with a flexible learning plan that fits each individual’s strengths, budget and professional goals.

AMA courses are nationally recognized for their comprehensiveness and value. The courses consist of Managing and Achieving Organizational Goals, Planning and Managing Change, How to Manage Conflict, Communication Skills, Finance and Accounting for Nonfinancial Managers and Business Writing Skills. To earn the Certificate in Management, students must successfully complete all six courses. Individual courses, however, may be taken on a professional enrichment basis.
